By showcasing the local and international forefront of not only jazz but everything that’s influenced and inspired by it, the festival embodies a collective dedication to the universal beauty of fluidity and diversity. One week a year, the neighborhood of Kreuzberg, a hotspot in cultural richness along with its plethora of venues, turns into the city’s epicenter of modern jazz and urban life. Yet first and foremost XJAZZ! FESTIVAL aims to defy genre, cultural and social boundaries through the power of bringing people together – unified by the all encompassing adoration of music.
