Trumpet player Avishai Cohen started his jazz career playing - amongst others - with his siblings Yuval and Anat in the early 2000s. In addition to countless appearances as a bandleader, co-leader and sideman, he finally made his applauded ECM-debut in 2016 with “Into The Silence”. After two more releases on the legendary Munich Label – “Cross My Palm With Silver” and “Playing the Room” - he recorded the first album of his new ‘Electric’ project Big Vicious in 2020 while touring with the newly formed band. Following his last acoustic duo project with pianist Yonathan Avishai, this new endeavor showcases all the musical range of the acclaimed trumpeter as a leader.
