"MEMENTO ODESA" GERMAN TOUR IS HAPPENING MARCH 2024
The one-of-a-kind symphony of resistance “MEMENTO ODESA” is about to start German tour in March in 11 cities.
“MEMENTO ODESA” is a collaborative project of Sebastian Studnitzky and Odesa Philharmonic Orchestra. Started with the recording of 3 music pieces in Odesa Philharmonic Hall, July 2023 it developed into the long-term partnership based on sharing values of a free minded thinking, equality, and compassion.
Firstly, the project‘s mission was to raise awareness and donations in solidarity with Ukraine by releasing the songs and the accompanying music video. But somehow, felt impossible keeping it away from the audience. “MEMENTO ODESA” sounds like a message from the bottom of the brave nation‘s heart so needs to be shared.
The project developed into a series of live performances starting in Odesa on the 2.3.2024 , and then all over Germany, ending in the Church of the Resurrection in Munich:
“Music has the power to communicate across borders. It can create an atmosphere where people are more emotionally open to understand and connect.
As a musician, I have a responsibility to use my talent and platform in a meaningful way” shares Sebastian Studnitzky, the mastermind of the project.
