On June 26, XJAZZ! proudly presents a true legend of Brazilian music: Marcos Valle will perform at Heimathafen Neukölln. The composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist has shaped the music world for over six decades with his unique blend of Bossa Nova, MPB, jazz, and beach boogie.
As one of the most influential artists in Brazilian music history, Valle is the mastermind behind timeless classics like Samba de Verão (Summer Samba) – a song that stands alongside The Girl from Ipanema as one of the most recognizable Brazilian tunes. His music has been sampled by Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Childish Gambino, and covered by Frank Sinatra, Bebel Gilberto, and even Emma Bunton.
